French 19th-20th century Louis XV bombe shaped petit-bureau de dame (secretary). banded with a gilt rim. Six small drawers form the superstructure of the desk. A small gilt decorated (none working) clock is cantered above the drawers. The leather desk top is outlined with a gilt twisted ribbon and the desk is fitted with a frieze drawer, attributed to François Linke (1855-1946). The pad feet and knees of the cabriole legs are decorated with a gilt leaf design and the front of the freeze drawer…
